January 22, 2024: Grayson, KY 41143 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) and the host East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY), saw Lawrence County's basketball squad hold off East Carter by a tally of 65-58.
With the victory, Lawrence County improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV) to play the Irish in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. St. Joseph Central won 54-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV)
Next up, the Raiders play the Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. East Carter will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 69-37 non-league loss to Estill County (Irvine, KY).
