Vermont High School Basketball - Fair Haven overwhelms Mt. Abraham
January 22, 2024: Bristol, VT 05443 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) and the host Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT), saw Fair Haven's basketball squad wallop Mt. Abraham by a tally of 62-34.
With the victory, Fair Haven improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Slaters host Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT) to confront the Terriers in a Southern Vermont - B challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Terriers come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Bellows Falls won 75-64 in their recent league challenge against Windsor (Windsor, VT)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT) in a Lake challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Mt. Abraham will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 47-35 non-league win over Bellows Free Academy (Fairfax, VT).
