California High School Basketball - San Leandro nips Fortune Early College
January 22, 2024: Sacramento, CA 95833 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) and the host Fortune Early College Panthers (Sacramento, CA), saw San Leandro's basketball squad hold off Fortune Early College by a count of 62-55.
With the victory, San Leandro upgrades its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA) to play the Trojans in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Castro Valley lost 56-42 in their recent league challenge against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA)
