Palm Valley FIREBIRDS (Rancho Mirage, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Joshua Springs Christian Lightning (Yucca Valley, CA), 76-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Palm Valley upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The FIREBIRDS travel to Weaver (Murrieta, CA) to play the Monarchs in a Victory bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Lightning play the Weaver Monarchs (Murrieta, CA) in a Victory bout, on Friday, January 26. Joshua Springs Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
