In Monday's non-league outing, the Mojave Rattlers (North Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad beat the host Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 81-72.

The Rattlers (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Liberty (Henderson, NV). The Patriots go into the 5A Southern outing with a 14-1 record. In their last outing, Liberty defeated Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV), 62-50, in a league outing.

The Vikings now hold a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Sunrise Mountain for a 4A Mountain outing on Tuesday, January 23. Valley will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 74-73 non-league loss to Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV). The Miners record now stands at 6-13.
