Colorado High School Basketball - Peak to Peak holds off The Academy
January 22, 2024: Westminster, CO 80031 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Peak to Peak Pumas (Lafayette, CO) and the host The Academy Wildcats (Westminster, CO), saw Peak to Peak's basketball squad hold off The Academy by a tally of 66-62.
With the victory, Peak to Peak improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO) to confront the Miners in a 4A/3A Metropolitan challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Prospect Ridge Academy lost 104-66 in their recent league challenge against Kent Denver (Englewood, CO)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Colorado Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a 4A/3A Metropolitan challenge, on Thursday, January 25. The Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 80-76 league win over Kent Denver (Englewood, CO).
