January 22, 2024: Scranton, PA 18508 The Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns basketball team (Hawley, PA), was toppled 75-62 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA)
The Knights now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley View for a Lackawanna 1 battle on Friday, January 26. Scranton will confront a Cougars team coming off a 77-29 league win over Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 12-3.
The Buckhorns (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats come into the Lackawanna 2 battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Western Wayne was toppled by Valley View (Archbald, PA), 77-29, in a league battle.
