Texas High School Basketball - St. Paul overwhelms Summit Christian Academy
January 22, 2024: Shiner, TX 77984 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the St. Paul Cardinals (Shiner, TX) and the visiting Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Cedar Park, TX), saw St. Paul's basketball squad wallop Summit Christian Academy by a tally of 59-22.
With the victory, St. Paul improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to San Juan Diego Catholic (Austin, TX) to play the Saints in a TAPPS 2A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 13-12. San Juan Diego Catholic lost 67-60 in their recent league challenge against Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Sacred Heart Indians (Hallettsville, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Summit Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 19-5 record after their 67-42 league win over Austin Waldorf (Austin, TX).
