January 22, 2024: St. Joseph, MO 64506 The Bishop LeBlond Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Richmond Spartans to 27 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Excelsior Springs for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Bishop LeBlond will battle a Tigers team coming off a 40-30 non-league win over Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.
The Spartans (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Wellington-Napoleon was routed by Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO), 40-30, in a non-league contest.
