January 22, 2024: Pleasant Hill, OH 45359 Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH), 45-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cedarville upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Indians host Madison Plains (London, OH) to play the Golden Eagles in a Ohio Heritage bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Madison Plains lost 43-36 in their recent league bout against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH)
Next up, the Indians play the Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH) in a Western Ohio bout, on Thursday, January 25. Newton Local will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 48-43 league win over Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH).
