New Jersey High School Basketball - North Star Academy crushes Shabazz
January 22, 2024: Newark, NJ 07102 North Star Academy (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ), 70-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Star Academy upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The host West Side (Newark, NJ) to clash with the Roughriders in a Super Essex - Freedom bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 0-10. West Side lost 49-27 in their recent non-league bout against Arts (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Shabazz will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record.
