New York High School Basketball - Pine Bush crushes New Paltz
January 22, 2024: Pine Bush, NY 12566 Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY), 59-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pine Bush upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bushmen host Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY) to clash with the Goldbacks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Goldbacks go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Newburgh Free Academy lost 39-27 in their recent non-league bout against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY)
Next up, the Huguenots clash with the Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. New Paltz will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 58-33 non-league loss to Rondout Valley (Accord, NY).
