Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC), 66-63 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Model Secondary School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 7-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to Washington Waldorf (Bethesda, MD) to face the in a Potomac Valley match on Thursday, January 23. The enter the match with a record of 5-7. Washington Waldorf lost 50-38 in their recent league match against St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC)

The Red Giants now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington Leadership Academy for a PCSAA A match on Thursday, January 23.
