New Mexico High School Basketball - Carrizozo fells Corona/Vaughn
January 22, 2025: Carrizozo, NM 88301 The Carrizozo Grizzlies basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Corona/Vaughn Cardinals to 55 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies now possess a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Grady for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Carrizozo will confront a Bronchos team coming off a 62-23 non-league win over Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM). The Bronchos record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Corona/Vaughn falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Des Moines (Des Moines, NM) to confront the Demons in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Demons go into the game with a record of 6-9. Des Moines lost 65-49 in their recent league game against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM)
