In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Crooms Academy Panthers basketball team scored a big 72-46 triumph over the Orlando Science Orcas.

The Panthers (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Cross Lutheran Academy (Sanford, FL). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Holy Cross Lutheran Academy was trounced by Altamonte Christian (Altamonte Springs, FL), 70-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Orcas confront the Geneva Knights (Casselberry, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Orlando Science will attempt to better on its 6-14 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 68-51 non-league loss to Foundation Academy (Winter Garden, FL).
