The Kosciusko Whippets basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting Noxubee County Tigers to 37 in the Whippets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Whippets now possess a 19-3 record. They play next when they travel to Louisville for a 4A Region 3 game on Friday, January 24.

With the loss, Noxubee County falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Okolona (Okolona, MS) to confront the Chieftains in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Chieftains go into the game with a record of 9-12. Okolona won 93-65 in their recent league game against Vardaman (Vardaman, MS)
