New York High School Basketball - Wells holds off Fort Ann
January 22, 2025: Fort Ann, NY 12827 The Wells Wells CSD basketball team scored 34 points and limited the host Fort Ann Cardinals to 29 in the Wells CSD non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wells CSD now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bolton Central for a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II game on Thursday, January 30.
With the loss, Fort Ann falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Granville (Granville, NY) to confront the Golden Horde in a Section 2 Adirondack I game on Friday, January 24. The Golden Horde go into the game with a record of 1-7. Granville won 36-32 in their recent non-league game against Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY)
