California High School Soccer - Merced toppled by El Capitan
January 22, 2025: Merced, CA 95344 El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Merced Bears (Merced, CA), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, El Capitan advances its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Gauchos travel to Atwater (Atwater, CA) to clash with the Falcons in a test on Friday, January 24. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Bears now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Golden Valley for a test on Tuesday, January 28.
