California High School Soccer - Oakmont knocks off Bear River
January 22, 2025: Grass Valley, CA 95949 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) and the host Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA), saw Oakmont's soccer squad triumph over Bear River by a margin of 7-0.
The Vikings now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wheatland for a challenge on Monday, January 27. Oakmont will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Center (Antelope, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Bear River moves to 0-9 on the year. The Bruins travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA) to encounter the Fighting Zebras in a challenge on Wednesday, January 29. The Fighting Zebras go into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Lincoln won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Colfax (Colfax, CA)
