The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV) and the host Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners (Las Vegas, NV), observed Basic's basketball team knock off Southeast Career Tech by a score of 68-60.

The Wolves (8-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV). The Pirate come into the 4A Sky challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon prevailed over Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV), 60-22, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Roadrunners encounter the Chaparral Cowboys (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 23.
