New Jersey High School Basketball - Christ the King overwhelmed by St. John-Vianney
January 23, 2022: Holmdel, NJ 07733 The St. John-Vianney Lancers basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Christ the King Royals to 50 in the Lancers non-league victory on Sunday.
The Lancers now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neptune for a Shore B - North contest on Tuesday, January 25. St. John-Vianney will battle a Scarlet Fliers team coming off a 61-21 league win over Toms River South (Toms River, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers record now stands at 7-4.
The Royals (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY). The Stanners come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Molloy was routed by Christ the King (Middle Village, NY), 56-40, in a non-league contest.
