The Beaver Falls Tigers basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Rochester Rams to 52 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Brighton for a WPIAL 3A 1 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Beaver Falls will meet a Lions team coming off a 63-51 league loss to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Lions record now stands at 3-11.

The Rams (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Aquinas Academy triumphed over Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA), 95-85, in a non-league contest.
