Maryland High School Basketball - Edgewood topped by Howard
January 23, 2023: Edgewood, MD 21040 The Howard Lions basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Edgewood Rams to 55 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilde Lake for a Howard County contest on Wednesday, January 25. Howard will battle a Wildecats team coming off a 76-47 non-league win over Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Wildecats record now stands at 8-3.
The Rams (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD). The Mustangs come into the Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, C. Milton Wright prevailed over Joppatowne (Joppa, MD), 57-44, in a league contest.
