New Jersey High School Basketball - Franklin winner over Princeton Day
January 23, 2023: Princeton, NJ 08540 The Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ) basketball felled the host Princeton Day Panthers (Princeton, NJ), 73-60 in Monday's non-league test.
The Warriors (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ). The Red Devils go into the Skyland - Delaware test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Hunterdon Central was beaten by Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ), 61-47, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro South for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 25. Princeton Day will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 58-52 league loss to Allentown (Allentown, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 9-7.
