Iowa High School Basketball - Midland overwhelms H-L-V
January 23, 2023: Wyoming, IA 52362 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA) and the visiting H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA), saw Midland's basketball squad wallop H-L-V by a tally of 69-37.
With the victory, Midland improves its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Marquette (Bellevue, IA) to confront the Mohawks in a Tri-Rivers challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Mohawks come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Marquette lost 63-57 in their recent league challenge against Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. H-L-V will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 84-74 league loss to Montezuma (Montezuma, IA).
