California High School Basketball - Horace Mann UCLA Community nudges Middle College
January 23, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90047 Horace Mann UCLA Community Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Middle College Cougars (Los Angeles, CA), 58-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Horace Mann UCLA Community upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Panthers host Magnolia Science Academy Carson (Carson, CA) to clash with the Vipers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Vipers go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Magnolia Science Academy Carson won 51-42 in their recent non-league bout against Academia Avance (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Foshay Wolverines (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Middle College will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 63-48 league loss to Math & Science College Preparatory (Los Angeles, CA).
