January 23, 2023: Jersey City, NJ 07302 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Peter's Prep Marauders (Jersey City, NJ) and the visiting North Star Academy (Newark, NJ), saw St. Peter's Prep's basketball squad overcome North Star Academy by a tally of 59-44.
With the victory, St. Peter's Prep improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. St. Thomas Aquinas won 75-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwestern (Miami, FL)
Next up, the confront the University Phoenix (Newark, NJ) in a Super Essex - American challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. North Star Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 64-61 non-league loss to Belleville (Belleville, NJ).
