Michigan High School Basketball - Airport tops Huron

January 23, 2023: Carleton, MI 48117

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Airport Jets (Carleton, MI) and the visiting Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI), saw Airport's basketball squad knock off Huron by a count of 53-45.

With the victory, Airport upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Riverview (Riverview, MI) to play the Pirates in a Huron challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Riverview won 60-34 in their recent league challenge against Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Milan Big Reds (Milan, MI) in a Huron challenge, on Friday, January 27. Huron will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Big Reds come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 66-18 non-league win over Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI).
