January 23, 2023: Hartford, MI 49057 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Watervliet Panthers (Watervliet, MI) and the host Hartford Indians (Hartford, MI), saw Watervliet's basketball squad wallop Hartford by a tally of 52-29.
With the victory, Watervliet improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Buchanan (Buchanan, MI) to play the Bucks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Bucks come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Buchanan won 42-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Bronson (Bronson, MI)
Next up, the Indians play the Centreville Bulldogs (Centreville, MI) in a Southwest 10 challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Hartford will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 69-38 non-league loss to Brandywine (Niles, MI).
