Missouri High School Basketball - Leeton crushes Lexington
January 23, 2023: Lexington, MO 64067 Leeton Bulldogs (Leeton, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MO), 59-17 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Leeton upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Concordia (Concordia, MO) to play the Fighting Orioles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Fighting Orioles go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Concordia won 42-36 in their recent non-league bout against Hardin-Central (Hardin, MO)
Next up, the Minutemen play the Lutheran Knights (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Concordia (Concordia, MO).
