California High School Basketball - Westchester nips Palisades
January 23, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90045 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA), saw Westchester's basketball squad hold off Palisades by a count of 61-57.
With the victory, Westchester upgrades its record to 22-1 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Yankees in a Western challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Yankees come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Hamilton won 64-17 in their recent league challenge against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Dolphins play the Orangewood Academy Spartans (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Palisades will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 54-34 non-league loss to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA).
