January 23, 2023: Angleton, TX 77515 The Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) soccer bounced the visiting Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX), 6-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
With the win, Angleton moves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Friendswood (Friendswood, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 5A Region 3 District 18 bout on Friday, January 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Friendswood won 9-0 in their recent league bout against Ball (Galveston, TX)
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 16 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Huntsville will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX).
