The Roosevelt Rough Riders basketball team (Kent, OH), was nudged 53-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH)

The Greenmen now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barberton for a Suburban - American battle on Friday, January 26. Aurora will battle a Magics team coming off a 67-56 league win over Copley (Copley, OH). The Magics record now stands at 12-2.

The Rough Riders (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH). The Blue Devils come into the Suburban - American battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Tallmadge was nudged by Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 61-56, in a league battle.
