Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Goose Creek Gators (Goose Creek, SC) and the host Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC), saw Goose Creek's basketball squad knock off Berkeley by a count of 49-39.

With the victory, Goose Creek upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Gators host Cane Bay (Summerville, SC) to play the Cobras in a AAAAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Cobras come into the challenge with a record of 14-8.

Next up, the Stags play the Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a AAAAA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Berkeley will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 52-50 league win over Cane Bay (Summerville, SC).
