New Jersey High School Basketball - Passaic holds off Clifton
January 23, 2024: Passaic, NJ 07055 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Passaic Indians (Passaic, NJ) and the visiting Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ), saw Passaic's basketball squad hold off Clifton by a tally of 31-29.
With the victory, Passaic improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Newark Vocational (Newark, NJ) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Newark Vocational lost 63-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Clifton will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 42-40 non-league win over Payne Tech (Newark, NJ).
