Oregon High School Basketball - Eagle Point knocked off by Crater
January 23, 2024: Eagle Point, OR 97524 The Crater Comets basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Eagle Point Eagles to 54 in the Comets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Comets now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thurston for a 5A Midwestern contest on Friday, January 26. Crater will meet a Colts team coming off a 58-56 league loss to North Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Colts record now stands at 10-6.
The Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Millers enter the 5A Midwestern contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Springfield was defeated by Churchill (Eugene, OR), 61-57, in a league contest.
