Pennsylvania High School Basketball - State College can't hold off Cumberland Valley

The Cumberland Valley Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host State College Little Lions to 39 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Altoona for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest on Friday, January 26. Cumberland Valley will battle a Mountain Lions team coming off a 58-44 league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 1-12.

The Little Lions (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Cougars come into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Harrisburg was nudged by Altoona (Altoona, PA), 58-44, in a league contest.
