In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Gibbon Buffaloes (Gibbon, NE) basketball squad edged the host Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE), by a count of 50-45.

The Buffaloes (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 14-1 record. In their last outing, Fillmore Central held off Centennial (Utica, NE), 46-45, in a non-league outing.
