January 23, 2024: Greensboro, AL 36744 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southside Panthers (Gadsden, AL) and the host Greensboro Raiders (Greensboro, AL), saw Southside's basketball squad wallop Greensboro by a count of 64-38.
With the victory, Southside upgrades its record to 5-18 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Etowah (Attalla, AL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 15-9. Etowah lost 55-52 in their recent league test against Ashville (Ashville, AL)
The Raiders now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Sumter Central for a 3A Area 7 test on Friday, January 26. Greensboro will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 46-39 non-league win over Noxubee County (Macon, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 15-3.
