January 23, 2024: Issaquah, WA 98059 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Liberty Patriots (Issaquah, WA) and the visiting Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA), saw Liberty's basketball squad overcome Mercer Island by a tally of 63-52.
With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Juanita (Kirkland, WA) to confront the Ravens in a 3A KingCo challenge on Friday, January 26. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 4-14. Juanita lost 81-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Skyline (Sammamish, WA)
Next up, the Islanders confront the Interlake Saints (Bellevue, WA) in a 3A KingCo challenge, on Friday, January 26. Mercer Island will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 88-51 league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, WA).
