January 23, 2024: Logan, OH 43138 The Teays Valley Vikings (Ashville, OH) basketball knocked off the host Logan Chieftains (Logan, OH), 58-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Bulldogs go into the Mid-State - Buckeye test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Bloom-Carroll went down by River Valley (Caledonia, OH), 92-71, in a non-league test.
The Chieftains now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host New Lexington for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Logan will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 67-57 league loss to Maysville (Zanesville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.
