January 23, 2024: Aurora, CO 80015 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), saw Smoky Hill's basketball squad overcome Mullen by a tally of 62-53.
With the victory, Smoky Hill improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Arapahoe (Centennial, CO) to confront the Warriors in a 6A Centennial challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Arapahoe won 50-41 in their recent league challenge against Grandview (Aurora, CO)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Grandview Wolves (Aurora, CO) in a 6A Centennial challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Mullen will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 65-53 non-league win over Columbine (Littleton, CO).
