Arkansas High School Basketball - Scranton overwhelms Arkansas School for the Deaf
January 23, 2024: Little Rock, AR 72205 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR) and the host Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards (Little Rock, AR), saw Scranton's basketball squad wallop Arkansas School for the Deaf by a tally of 33-6.
With the victory, Scranton improves its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR) to confront the Red Hawks in a 1A Region 4 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Red Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-20.
Next up, the Leopards confront the Nemo Vista Red Hawks (Center Ridge, AR) in a 1A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Arkansas School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Red Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-20 record after their 62-21 league loss to Wonderview (Hattieville, AR).
