The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Bowman Academy Eagles to 40 in the Fighting Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Fighting Eagles now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Forest for a Greater South Shore contest on Friday, January 26.

The Eagles (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN). The Trailblazers enter the non-league contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, South Bend Career Academy was defeated by Bethany Christian (Goshen, IN), 70-19, in a league contest.
