Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central Hawks (Talbotton, GA), 61-15 in a league bout.

With the win, Schley County upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Macon County (Montezuma, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a A D2 Region 6 bout on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Macon County won 41-12 in their recent non-league bout against Dooly County (Vienna, GA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Chattahoochee County Panthers (Cusseta, GA) in a A D2 Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 26. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 57-55 league win over Manchester (Manchester, GA).
