January 23, 2024: Kinder, LA 70648 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) and the host Kinder Yellowjackets (Kinder, LA), saw Iowa's basketball squad wallop Kinder by a tally of 65-35.
With the victory, Iowa improves its record to 23-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host South Beauregard (Longville, LA) to confront the Knights in a 3A District 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 19-7. South Beauregard won 62-26 in their recent league challenge against St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA)
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) in a 3A District 3 contest, on Friday, January 26. Kinder will attempt to better on its 12-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 15-10 record after their 59-27 non-league win over Comeaux (Lafayette, LA).
