West Virginia High School Basketball - Musselman fells Moorefield
January 23, 2024: Inwood, WV 25428 Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Moorefield Yellow Jackets (Moorefield, WV), 53-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Musselman upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Applemen host GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 13-6. GVCS Broadfording lost 42-33 in their recent league bout against Shalom Christian Academy (Chambersburg, PA)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Moorefield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 52-39 non-league loss to Keyser (Keyser, WV).
