New York High School Basketball - North Tonawanda holds off Sweet Home
January 23, 2024: Amherst, NY 14228 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) and the host Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY), saw North Tonawanda's basketball squad hold off Sweet Home by a tally of 53-52.
With the victory, North Tonawanda improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Lockport (Lockport, NY) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Sweet Home will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record.
