Wisconsin High School Basketball - Baraboo overwhelms Mauston
January 23, 2025: Baraboo, WI 53913 The Baraboo Thunderbirds basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Mauston Golden Eagles to 34 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Beaver Dam for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Baraboo will confront a Golden Beavers team coming off a 60-52 non-league loss to West De Pere (De Pere, WI). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Mauston falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Wautoma (Wautoma, WI) to confront the Hornets in a South Central game on Friday, January 24. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 0-13.
