In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Indian Rocks Christian Eagles basketball team scored a big 80-56 triumph over the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes.

The Eagles (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeside Christian (Clearwater, FL). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Lakeside Christian was trounced by Admiral Farragut (St. Petersburg, FL), 83-21, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hurricanes confront the All Saints' Academy Saints (Winter Haven, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 59-56 non-league win over Mulberry (Mulberry, FL).
